BAKED POTATO

The Baked Potato program senses and bakes 1-4 medium pieces/potatoes, about 10-13 oz (283-369 g) each.

Pierce each potato several times with a fork.

Place a single potato on the turntable, off to the side (not centered). Place 2, 3 or 4 potatoes on the turntable around the edges, about 1" (2.5 cm) apart.

Let potato(es) stand 5 minutes after baking.

To Use Baked Potato:

1.Place potato(es) on the turntable, and close the door.

2.Touch BAKED POTATO.

The cycle will start automatically. “SENSES 1-4 PIECES” will appear briefly in the display, followed by “SENSING.” When sensing is almost completed, the MAX TIME icon and estimated remaining cook time will appear in the display for a moment, and then will be replaced by the TIME icon and actual remaining cook time.

Doneness may be adjusted during the first 20 seconds of the cycle by touching COOK TIME.

When the cycle ends, “END” will appear in the display, and the end-of-cycle tones will sound, followed by reminder tones.

3.Touch CANCEL OFF or open the door to clear the display and/or stop reminder tones.

FRESH VEG/FROZEN VEG

The Fresh Vegetable and Frozen Vegetable programs sense and cook 1-4 cups (250 mL-1 L) vegetables.

Remove frozen vegetables from package.

Place in microwave-safe container.

Add water:

2-4 tbs (30-60 mL) to 1 cup (250 mL) vegetables;

1/3 cup (80 mL) to 2-3 cups (500-750 mL) vegetables; 1/2 cup (125 mL) to 3-4 cups (750 mL-1 L) vegetables.

Cover with plastic wrap and vent.

Stir and let stand 2-3 minutes after cooking.

To Use Fresh Veg/Frozen Veg:

1.Place food on the turntable, and close the door.

2.Touch FRESH VEG or FROZEN VEG.

The cycle will start automatically. “SENSES 1-4 CUPS” will appear briefly in the display, followed by “SENSING.” When sensing is almost completed, the MAX TIME icon and estimated remaining cook time will appear in the display for a moment, and then will be replaced by the TIME icon and actual remaining cook time.

FROZEN ENTREE (sensor and non-sensor)

The Frozen Entree program cooks 10 or 20 oz (283 or 567 g) entrées as a sensor function, or cooks 40 or 60 oz (1.1 or 1.7 kg) entrées as a non-sensor function.

Remove from package. Loosen cover on 3 sides. If entrée is not in microwave-safe container, place on plate, cover with plastic wrap and vent.

For 10- or 20-oz (283 or 567 g) entrée, let stand 2-3 minutes after cooking.

For 40- or 60-oz (1.1 or 1.7 kg) entrée, remove film halfway through cycle. Let stand 5 minutes after cooking.

To Use Frozen Entree:

1.Place entrée on the turntable, and close the door.

2.Touch FROZEN ENTREE.

“ENTER 10 OR 20 OR 40 OR 60 OZ” will scroll across the display.

3.Enter the entrée size in ounces.

Doneness may be adjusted at this time by touching COOK TIME.

4.Touch START.

For 10- or 20-oz (283 or 567 g) entrées, the cycle will start automatically, and “SENSING” will appear in the display. When sensing is almost completed, the MAX TIME icon and estimated remaining cook time will appear in the display for a moment, and then will be replaced by the TIME icon and actual remaining cook time.

For 40- or 60-oz (1.1 or 1.7 kg) entrées (non-sensor), the display will count down the cook time.

When the cycle ends, “END” will appear in the display, and the end-of-cycle tones will sound, followed by reminder tones.

5.Touch CANCEL OFF or open the door to clear the display and/or stop reminder tones.

BEVERAGE (non-sensor)

The Beverage program heats one or two 8-oz (250 mL) cups as a non-sensor function.

Do not cover.

The diameter of the cup’s opening will affect how the liquid heats. Beverages in cups with smaller openings may heat faster.

To Use Beverage:

1.Place beverage on the turntable, and close the door.

2.Touch BEVERAGE.

“ENTER 1 OR 2 CUPS” will scroll across the display.

3.Enter the amount.

Doneness may be adjusted at this time by touching COOK TIME.

4.Touch START.

The display will count down the cook time.

When the cycle ends, “END” will appear in the display, and the end-of-cycle tones will sound, followed by reminder tones.

5.Touch CANCEL OFF or open the door to clear the display and/or stop reminder tones.
