AUTO COOKING

AUTO COOKING consists of 7 functions - Auto Cook, Auto Reheat, Keep Warm, Melt Soften, Snacks Menu, Chicken Nuggets and Auto Defrost.

Auto Cook

Auto cook is divided into 2 parts - Quick Meals (Frozen Breakfast, Scrambled Eggs, Hot Cereal and Soup) and Dinner Recipes (Chicken and Rice, Meatloaf, Roast Pork, Seafood Pasta and Vegetarian Medley).

5.Midway through the cooking, audible signals will be heard and your oven will stop. Open the door, follow the instruction shown in the display and close the door.

1.Skip Step 3, when More or Less Time Adjustment is not needed.

2.Scrambled Eggs, Hot Cereal and Soup are same procedure. Follow the above procedure.

3.Frozen Breakfast is not needed to enter amount or number. Skip Step 2.

4.If mute is set, the audible signals will not be heard at Step 5. See 2, Audible Signal Elimination on page 23.

5.When AUTO COOKING are selected, Turntable On is automatically set for optimum cooking.

1. Frozen

3 - 6 oz

This setting works well for frozen breakfast entrees, pancakes, waffles, burritos etc.

2. Scrambled

1 - 8 eggs

For each egg, use 1 teaspoon of butter or margarine and 1 tablespoon of milk. Place

butter or margarine in dish, measuring cup or casserole large enough for the egg to

 

 

expand. Mix egg and milk together. Pour on to butter or margarine in dish. Cover with

 

 

wax paper. Place in oven and program. Press number 2 to increase quantity and press

 

 

the START enter +30 sec pad. When oven stops, stir egg mixture moving the cooked

 

 

portion to the center of the dish, uncooked portion to the outside, close the door and

 

 

press the START enter +30 sec pad. After cooking, stir and let stand, covered, until

 

 

set. Note that eggs will be slightly undercooked when removed from the oven.

 

 

 

3. Hot Cereal

1- 6 servings

Use individual packets or bulk cereal in your favorite variety: oatmeal, oat bran, cream

 

 

of wheat, farina or wheatena. Follow package directions for the correct amount of water

 

 

or milk. To prevent boilovers, it is very important to choose a large container because

 

 

microwave cooking of cereal causes high boiling. Press number 3 to increase quantity

 

 

and press the START enter +30 sec pad. When oven stops, stir and press the START

 

 

enter +30 sec pad. After cooking, stir and let stand, covered, for 2 minutes.

 

 

 

4. Soup

1 - 8 cups

Place in bowl or casserole. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. Press number 4 to increase quantity

 

 

and press the START enter +30 sec pad. At end, stir, recover and let stand 1 to 3 minutes.

* It is not necessary to enter amount or number.
