400 Series

Getting Started

1.Load dishwasher (See Preparing and Loading Dishes).

2.Add detergent (See Dishwasher Dispenser

&Detergents).

3.Add rinse aid, if needed (See Rinse Aid).

4.Select desired cycle (See Wash Cycle Selections). The indicator will show red when selected.

5.Turn dial clockwise to select cycle or number of hours for delay start (available on select models.)

6.Select desired energy OPTIONS (See Energy Options). The indicator will show red when selected.

7.If using DELAY START, (available on select models) go to step number 9.

8.Run hot water faucet nearest dishwasher until water is hot. Turn water off.

9.To start, close door to latch.

Delay Start/Status Lights

Delay Start (available on select models)

Allows you to delay starting the POTS & PANS cycle up to 6 hours.

Turn dial to select number of hours.

Press POTS & PANS pad.

Select desired OPTIONS.

The DELAY START indicator light will come on when door is closed and remain on as the timer counts down to begin cycle.

Clean Indicator (available on select models)

The CLEAN indicator light will come on when a cycle is complete. To turn it off, turn dial slightly until light goes off.
