Getting Started

1.Load dishwasher (See Preparing and Loading Dishes).

2.Add detergent (See Dishwasher Dispenser & Detergents).

3.Add rinse aid (See Rinse Aid).

4.Select desired CYCLE (See Cycle Chart). The indicator light above the pad will glow when selected.

5.Select desired OPTIONS (See Energy Options). The indicator light above the pad will glow when selected.

6.Run hot water faucet nearest dishwasher until water is hot. Turn water off.

7.To start, press START/CANCEL pad.

8.Close door to latch.

NOTE

The dishwasher is programmed to remember your last cycle so you do not have to reset each time. To start the dishwasher using the same cycle and options selected on the previous wash, just press the START/CANCEL pad.

Wash Cycle Selections

Cycle times are approximate and will vary with options selected. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the timer will be delayed for automatic water heating in the main wash of all cycles. This happens even when HI-TEMP WASH option has not been selected. When HI-TEMP WASH is selected, an even higher temperature will be guaranteed to handle heavier

soil loads.

Options Selections

Wash Pressure

The WASH PRESSURE option allows you to select the desired wash pressure depending on your dishload. When HIGH WASH PRESSURE is selected, the wash pressure is increased by 30% to provide faster and more effective cleaning. When LOW WASH PRESSURE is selected, the wash pressure is decreased by 30% to clean delicate dishes without damage. HIGH WASH PRESSURE can be used with all cycles except CHINA CRYSTAL and RINSE ONLY. HIGH WASH PRESSURE is automatically provided when POWER PLUS or QUICK CLEAN cycles are selected. LOW WASH PRESSURE can be used with all cycles except QUICK CLEAN and RINSE ONLY. LOW WASH PRESSURE is automatically provided when CHINA CRYSTAL (TOP RACK) is selected. WASH PRESSURE may be selected before the wash cycle is started, or anytime during the wash cycle.

Hi-Temp Wash

When HI-TEMP WASH option is selected, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140°F (60°C).

This increase in water temperature helps

dishwasher detergent remove food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. This option is available in NORMAL WASH and TOP RACK. HI-TEMP WASH is automatically provided when HEAVY WASH cycle is selected.
