SUPER DEFROST CHART

	F O O D	A M O U N T	P R O C E D U R E
1.	Ground meat	1.0 lb	At pause, turn over, removed any thawed pieces and break remainder
			apart. At end, let stand, covered, for 3 to 5 minutes.
2.	Boneless poultry	1.0 lb	At pause, turn over and separate into pieces. At end, let stand, covered,
			for 3 to 5 minutes.
3.	Bone-in	2.0 lb	At pause, turn over and separate into pieces. At end, let stand, covered,
	chicken pieces		for 3 to 5 minutes.

NOTE: SuperDefrost provides just enough defrosting that the foods can be used in recipes or for cooking. There will be some ice crystals remaining.

5. COMPU DEFROST

CompuDefrost automatically defrosts all the foods found in the CompuDefrost Chart below.

•Suppose you want to defrost a 2.0 pound steak.

	Defrost			TO	FOOD
	Touch CompuDefrost pad once.
2	Compu		x 2	STEAKS	OR FISH
	Defrost			CHOPS
	Touch CompuDefrost			ENTER	IN
	pad two more times to
				WEIGHT	POUNDS
	select steak.
3	2	0		2.0	PRESS
				POUNDS	START

Enter weight by touching the number pads 2 and 0. (Ex: 2.0 lb steak.)

4		Start	Touch Start/Touch On pad.
	Touch On

The oven will stop so	TURN	OVER
	FOOD
the food can be
checked.		COVER
The display will show:		EDGES

After the 1st stage, open the door. Turn steak

5 over and shield any warm portions. Close the door.

	Start	Touch Start/Touch On pad.
Touch On

After the 2nd stage, open	CHECK	COVER
6 the door. Shield any warm	FOOD	EDGES
portions. Close the door.

	Start	Touch Start/Touch On pad.
Touch On

After defrost cycle ends,	LET	COVERED
7 follow the directions.	STAND

NOTE:

1.To defrost other food or foods above or below the weights allowed on the CompuDefrost Chart, use time and 30% power. See Manual Defrost on page 10.

2.CompuDefrost can be programmed with More or Less Time Adjustment. Touch the Power Level pad once or twice before touching Start/Touch On pad.

3.Touch Custom Help pad when the HELP indicator is lighted in the display for a helpful hint.

4.If you attempt to enter more or less than the amount as indicated in the chart below, an error message will appear in the display.

COMPU DEFROST CHART

1.	Ground meat	.5	- 3.0		lb	Remove any thawed pieces after each stage. Let stand, covered, for 5 to
						10 minutes.
2.	Steaks, chops	.5	-	4.0	lb	After each stage, rearrange and if there are warm or thawed portions,
	or fish					shield with small flat pieces of aluminum foil. Remove any meat or fish
						that is almost defrosted. Let stand, covered, for 10 to 20 minutes.
3.	Chicken pieces	.5	-	3.0	lb	After each stage, rearrange pieces or remove portions should they be-
						come warm or thawed. Let stand, covered, for 10 to 20 minutes.
