POPCORN

The popcorn settings automatically provide the correct cooking time for most brands of microwave popcorn. See the chart below.

Suppose you want to pop 3.5 oz. bag of light micro- wave popcorn.

microwave oven use. Try several

 

brands to decide which is most

 

acceptable for your taste. Place

 

bag with only one fold slightly off

 

center and place bag with two

 

folds in the center of the turntable.

 

You may also fold down the

 

corners of the bag so it turns

Express Defrost automatically defrosts foods shown in the chart below. Check the chart to determine appropri- ate time.

Suppose you want to defrost a 2.0 pound steak (11/2” thick) for 14 minutes.

The oven will stop and the CHECK indicator will flash.

The food should be checked and turned over and/ or shielded.

After the 1st stage, open the door, turn steak

4 over and shield any warm portions. Close the door.
