Cleaning the coffeemaker before first use

Follow the steps under “Adding water and ground coffee” and “Brewing coffee now,” (pages 4-5) but do not add coffee grounds.

Selecting and measuring ground coffee

For best results, use coffee ground for use with automatic drip coffee makers. The amounts shown below are suggested amounts

To	brew...	Use this amount of ground coffee
12	cups	11		tablespoons	or 5+%		scoops
10 cups		9		tablespoons	or	4+‘/9	scoops
8	cups	7		tablespoons	or	3+‘/~	scoops
6	cups	6		tablespoons or		3 scoops
4	cups	5		tablespoons	or	2+‘/~	scoops
Q	cups	3	tablespoons or 1 +‘/z				scoops

•two level tablespoons = one level scoop

•one cup = five ounces brewed coffee

Adding water and ground coffee

1.) Open the brew basket lid and lift out the removable filter basket.

‘2.1 Place a MR. COFFEE” brand 8-12 cup paper filter or a MR. COFFEE” permanent gold-tone filter in the removable filter

3.1Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. Gently shake the filter basket to level the ground coffee.
