•Never pick up a flaming pan. If dropped,flames can spreadquickly.

•DO NOT USE WATERI A violentsteam explosionmay resufl,Wet dishclothsor towels are also dangerous,

•Smother flames with a close fittinglid, cookiesheet or metal tray.

•Flaming grease can also be extinguishedwith bakingsoda or a mufli-purpasodry chemicalextinguisher.

•Tum off surface units - if you can do so withoutgetting bumed.
