Safety decals and instructions are easily visible to the operator and are located near any area of potential danger. Replace any decal that is damaged or lost.

Assembly

Note: Determine the left and right hand sides of the snowthrower by standing in the normal operating position.

Installing the Upper Handle and Chute Crank

1.Stand the snowthrower on its wheels and position the upper handle. Inspect the open internal wiring. If it is damaged, do not assemble. Contact your Authorized Service Dealer.

Caution

Internal wiring could be damaged during assembly. Damaged wiring can cause serious personal injury when operating the snowthrower.

Carefully assemble the snowthrower so that you will not damage the electrical wiring.

If wiring is damaged, do not assemble the snowthrower. Contact your Authorized Service Dealer.

2.Carefully insert the right side of the upper tubing over the end of the lower right side tubing (Fig. 2).
