CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
The tires on your tractor were ovednflated at the factory for shipping purposes. Correct tire pressure is important for best cutting performance.
•Reduce tire pressure to PSI shown in "PRODUCT
SPECIFICATIONS" on page 3 of this manual•
CHECK DECK LEVELNESS
For best cutting results, mower housing should be properly leveled. See "TO LEVEL MOWER HOUSING" in the
Service and Adjustments section of this manual.

The gauge wheels are designed to keep the mower deck in proper position when operating mower. Be sure they are
properly adjusted to ensure optimum mower performance.
•Assemble gauge wheels with tractor on a flat level surface.
Adjust mower to desired cutting height (See "TO AD- JUST MOWER CUFFING HEIGHT" in the Operation section of this manual).
With mower in desired height of cut position, gauge wheels should be assembled so they are slightly off the ground. Install gauge wheel in appropriate hole with shoulder bolt, 3/8 washer, and
Repeat for opposite side installing gauge wheel in same adjustment hole.
