Background
The Model SC2 is a center channel loudspeaker sonical- ly matched to, and designed to be mated with, any of NHT's Super Audio speaker products.
Employing the same neodymium magnet tweeter technology as other Super Audio models in combination with two 5.25" polypropylene woofers, the SC2 delivers both remarkable midrange accuracy
The result is a center channel speaker offering seamless response in NHT Super Audio speaker systems, making it ideal for today's discrete digital surround formats.

Placement
The SC2 is designed to be oriented horizontally. Ideally, it should be placed directly above or below the television, as close to the screen as possible (fig.1). As it is magnetically shielded, it won't distort the picture's color.

The three front speakers in a home theater system sound best when placed at the same distance, the same height, and close to ear level from your listening position (fig. 2). Since the top surface of your television may be higher than ear level when you're sitting, it's sometimes difficult to place your center speaker at ear level. To address this, the SC2 comes with an adjustable leg (fig. 3) you can use to aim the speaker directly at your listening position. To use the leg, simply adjust the SC2 to the angle you want, and tighten the finger screws.

The SC2 will sound best when the front baffle is even with the front (fig. 3) of the TV, which eliminates diffraction, i.e., sound waves bouncing off the top surface of the television.
