THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS ARE SUGGESTED TO HELP PREVENT ACCIDENTS- A CAREFUL OPERATOR IS THE BEST OPERATOR- MOST ACCIDENTS CAN BE AVOIDED BY OBSERVING CERTAIN PRECAUTIONS. READ AND TAKE THE FOLUlWING PRECAUTIONS BEFORE OPERATING THIS TRACTOR AND ROTARY BROOM TO HELP PREVENT ACCIDENTS. EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE OPERATED ONLY BY THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE AND INSTRUCTED TO DO SO-

TRAINING

1 . Read t h e O p e r a t o r ' s Manual c a r e f u l l y b e f o r e using t h e t r a c t o r and r o t a r y broom. Be thoroughly f a m i l i a r w i t h t h e c o n t r o l s and proper u s e of t h e equipment. Know how t o s t o p t h e u n i t and disengage t h e c o n t r o l s q u i c k l y .

2.Never allow c h i l d r e n t o o p e r a t e equipment. Never allow a d u l t s t o o p e r a t e equipment without proper i n s t r u c t i o n .

3 . Keep t h e a r e a of o p e r a t i o n c l e a r of a l l persons and animals .

4.Never o p e r a t e t r a c t o r i n n o n - v e n t i l a t e d a r e a .

PREPARATION

1 . Make s u r e t h a t the attachment d r i v e is disengaged b e f o r e s t a r t i n g t h e engine .

2. Never a t t e m p t t o make any adjustments while engine is running .

3 . Thoroughly i n s p e c t t h e a r e a where t h e equipment i s t o be used and remove a l l boards, w i r e s and o t h e r f o r e i g n o b j e c t s .

4. Never o p e r a t e t h e r o t a r y broom w i t h o u t good v i s i b i l i t y .

5.Never wear l o o s e , t o r n o r bulky c l o t h i n g around t h e t r a c t o r and attachments . It may c a t c h on moving p a r t s o r c o n t r o l s , l e a d i n g t o t h e risk of a c c i d e n t s .

6. Prolonged exposure t o loud n o i s e can cause impairment o r l o s s of hearing . Wear

as u i t a b l e h e a r i n g p r o t e c t i v e d e v i c e such a s earmuffs o r e a r p l u g s t o p r o t e c t a g a i n s t o b j e c t i o n a b l e o r uncomfortably loud n o i s e s .
