We suggest you assemble the unit on a soft surface to avoid damage to the finish.

1.Attach the five wooden Seat Slats (3) onto the right and left Arm Rests (1) using the Screws (9) on the top side of the Slats and the Washers (8) and Nuts (10) on the underside. Hand tighten. See Figure 1.

2.Attach the Seat Brace (5) to the wooden Seat Slats (3) using the Tap Screws (7). Tighten all hardware after assembly. See Figure 2.
Note: It may become necessary to enlarge the holes in the Seat Slats (3). Clear the hole of
paint or varnish by sliding a bolt through the hole or using a drill (not included).
