ABOUT YOUR DETECTOR

Two-box metal detectors have long been used by prospectors, geologists, treasure hunters and public utility companies to locate large, deep objects, ore vein, pipes and cables. Fisher Research Laboratory is the recognized leader in the field, in fact, they were granted the first two-box metal detector patent over 60 years ago.

You might think it would be difficult to improve on a product that has been in a constant state of development for so many years. But the fact is, the GEMINI-3 is probably the biggest leap forward in two-box design since it replaced vacuum tubes with transistors back in the 1950s.

The new GEMINI-3 goes 10 to 20 percent deeper than its predecessor. It will trace most pipes and ore veins at least 50 percent farther, and the new crystal controlled circuitry is rock stable. The old metal-rim antenna is gone and so are the hard-to-get batteries. The GEMINI-3 is easier to use, two pounds lighter, & features Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), audio target response for precision pinpointing.

Your Fisher GEMINI-3 is a high quality, precision instrument engineered by the oldest and proudest name in metal detectors. Treat it right, read this instruction manual thoroughly and practice often. Who knows, with skill, patience and a little luck, you may find the BIG ONE.

Drop us a line if you have any questions, comments or exciting GEMINI-3 stories. In the meantime . . .

Happy hunting,

FISHER RESEARCH LABORATORY

GEMINI-3 specifications

The Fisher GEMINI-3 is a sophisticated metal detector designed for both hobbyists and professionals seeking high-performance in treasure hunting. Launched by Fisher Research Labs, this model offers a myriad of features that make it one of the most popular detectors on the market.

One of the standout characteristics of the GEMINI-3 is its dual search capabilities. The detector is equipped with both a 10-inch coil and a 5-inch coil, allowing users to operate in various terrains and conditions. The larger coil is perfect for searching wide areas, while the smaller coil helps in pinpointing targets in more cluttered sites.

The GEMINI-3 utilizes advanced VLF (Very Low Frequency) technology, which provides enhanced sensitivity to both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, helping users to distinguish between valuable items and common trash. This technology significantly reduces the chances of missing hidden treasures beneath the surface.

Another impressive feature is the detector's digital target identification system, which provides users with a numerical readout corresponding to the type of metal detected. This identification system enhances the hunting experience, allowing users to make informed decisions about whether to dig or move on to the next target. Additionally, the GEMINI-3 boasts multiple discrimination modes, enabling operators to filter out unwanted items like iron and foil while honing in on more valuable finds.

The GEMINI-3 is built for durability and usability. The control panel is user-friendly and designed to facilitate quick adjustments in the field. The lightweight construction of the detector ensures comfort during prolonged use, making it an ideal choice for long treasure-hunting sessions.

Moreover, the detector is powered by a rechargeable battery, providing extended use without the inconvenience of constantly changing batteries. The impressive battery life allows treasure hunters to focus more on their quest and less on equipment management.

In conclusion, the Fisher GEMINI-3 combines advanced features with user-friendly design, making it a top choice for metal detection enthusiasts. Its versatility, technology, and practical characteristics empower treasure seekers to explore various environments efficiently, unearthing hidden treasures with ease.
