ZTR 72, ZTR 60 specifications

The Dixon ZTR 60 and ZTR 72 are prominent entries in the zero-turn radius mower market, designed for both homeowners and commercial operators seeking durability, performance, and exceptional maneuverability. These mowers are engineered for efficiency, allowing users to tackle large lawns and complex landscapes with ease.

One of the standout features of both the ZTR 60 and ZTR 72 models is their powerful engine options. Typically powered by Briggs & Stratton or Kawasaki engines, these mowers deliver reliable performance with horsepower options that allow for quick cutting and the ability to handle tough grass conditions. The robust engine setups ensure that users can consistently achieve an even cut, regardless of the terrain.

Both models boast a heavy-duty, responsive hydrostatic transmission that provides smooth acceleration and deceleration, enabling operators to make precise turns and navigate around obstacles seamlessly. This advanced technology is essential for achieving a professional finish in a variety of mowing conditions, from open fields to densely landscaped gardens.

The ZTR series is also equipped with an innovative cutting deck design. The ZTR 60 features a 60-inch cutting deck, while the ZTR 72 comes with a spacious 72-inch deck option, both offering adjustable cutting heights to accommodate different grass types and preferences. The superior cutting system promotes an even grass discharge and allows for mulching, bagging, or side discharging, making it versatile for various mowing needs.

Comfort is another key focus in the design of these zero-turn mowers. They come with an ergonomic seat and user-friendly controls, ensuring that operators can maneuver the mower efficiently without sacrificing comfort during long mowing sessions. The improved visibility and intuitive controls enhance the overall user experience, reducing fatigue and allowing for longer use periods.

Additional features include a robust chassis built from premium materials that ensure longevity and resistance to wear. The ZTR line also prioritizes safety, incorporating features such as roll bars and safety switches that automatically engage when the operator leaves the seat.

Overall, the Dixon ZTR 60 and ZTR 72 mowers are notable for their powerful engines, advanced transmission systems, superior cutting capabilities, and operator comfort. These characteristics make them ideal for those who require high performance and reliability in their mowing equipment, whether for residential lawns or commercial landscaping tasks.
