Blade & Box Blade PRE-OPERATION Inspection

Before conducting the inspection, make sure the tractor engine is off, all rotation has stopped and the tractor is in park with the parking brake engaged. Make sure the blade is resting on the ground or securely blocked up and all hydraulic pressure has been relieved.

All Safety Decals are in place and legible.

 

 

The Hitch connection pins are properly retained.

 

 

There are no cracks in Hitch.

 

 

All frame bolts are in place and tight.

 

 

The blade swing, angle & tilts pins are properly lubricated

 

 

and retained.

 

 

The Blade edge & moldboard are clear of mud and debris.

 

 

The blade edge attachments bolts are in place and tight.

 

 

The blade edge is not chipped, cracked or bent.

 

 

The Storage Stands are in place & in good condition.

 

 

The skid shoes are in good condition.

 

 

The Hydraulic Cylinders pins are in place & retained.

 

 

There areno leaking or damaged hoses.

 

 

There is no evidence of Hydraulic leaks.

 

 

The gauge wheel(s) are in good condition & lubricated.

 

 

The scarifier shanks are properly retained.

 

 

The scarifier points are in good condition and retained.
