Solutions

Tracks do not change or set does not play normally.

CD Player will not turn on.

Disc will not play.

No sound from headphones.

Sound is skipping or sound stops.

Sound is distorted.

Batteries are weak (they may test OK on tester but they are weak for CD operation).

Dead or weak batteries.

The optional AC ADAPTOR not connected properly.

Disc inserted incorrectly.

Disc scratched or dirty.

Defective compact disc.

CD DOOR not closed.

Moisture has formed inside the CD deck.

Weak batteries.

The compact disc or lens is dirty or CD is scratched.

The set is shocked.

Music is too loud.

Weak batteries.

Replace both batteries with fresh alkaline batteries. Battery life with fresh batteries is about 8 hours for continuous CD play (rechargeable batteries have 1/2 of that life).

Replace both batteries with fresh ones.

Check the optional AC ADAPTOR connection at AC outlet and the right of the set.

Re- insert disc with label s ide facing up.

Replace the disc (this set will not play damaged or scratched CDs), or buy a disc repair polisher to repair it yourself.

Try another compact disc, this set will not play MP3 or WMA discs.

Close the door securely.

Take out the CD disc and leave the CD Door open for about 20 minutes to dry the moisture condensation.

Replace with fresh batteries or use the optional AC ADAPTOR.

Clean or replace the compact disc or clean the lens.

This set is not designed for jog- ging and doesn’t have anti-skip protection function.

Lower the VOLUME control by pressing the decrease ( ) button.

Replace both batteries or use the optional AC ADAPTOR.

Remove batteries and the optional AC ADAPTOR. Wait 15 seconds and re-insert. Make sure batteries are fresh or the optional AC ADAPTOR has power.
