Connect the supplied AC power cord or batteries (see page 14).

Press the Stop/Eject Button to open the tape compartment

STOP/EJECT and insert a blank tape. Select the program source (AM, FM,

CD, or, built-in microphone) you want to record.

To record from the CD player, insert a CD and follow the steps to play a CD (see page 4).

To record from a radio, slide the Function Switch to RADIO, and tune into the station you want (see page 8).

To record from the buit-in microphone, leave the Function Switch at TAPE position, and speak in front of the set.

Press the Record Button to start recording. (The Play Button is depressed automatically.)
