The WR201 connects to your existing home stereo by standard electronic cables, whereas the connection to your computers is by 802.11g wireless networking. Besides functioning as an 802.11g AP, the WR201 receives PC audio and transmits to your home stereo via the wireless connection, allowing any computer in its vicinity to have a 2.1 or 5.1 Channel surround sound speakers.
