DRAM RAS# TO CAS # DELAY:

This item let you insert a timin g delay between the CAS and RAS strob e signals, used when DRAM

is written to, read from , or refreshed. Fast gives faster perfo rmance; and Slow gives more stable

performance. This field applies only when synchronous DRAM is installed in the system. The choices

are 2 and 3.

DRAM RAS# PRECHARG E TIME:

If an insufficient num ber of cycles is allowed for the RAS to accumulate its charge before DRAM

refresh, the refre sh may be incomplete and the DRAM may fail to retai n data. Fast gives faster

performanc e; and Slow gives more stable performan ce. This field applies only when synchro-

nous DRAM is installed in the sys tem. The choices are 2 & 3.

Precharge Delay This setting controls the precharge delay, which determines the tim ing delay for

DRAM precharge
