4.3Installing the 2.5" Hard Disk Drive

One enhanced Integrated Device Electronics (IDE) hard disk drive may be attached to the panel PC's internal controller which uses a PCI local-bus interface. The follow- ing instructions are for installing the HDD:

1.A metal plate holds the HDD to the upper right-hand side of the metal shielding case. (See Fig. 4-5.) Fix the two screws on the metal plate of two side of HDD.

2.Connect IDE cable from main board.

3.Place the HDD on the metal plate, and tighten the four screws from the bottom of the metal plate.
