Installation

Water inlet (cold water connection only)

Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4” thread.

Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements.

The inlet hose is provided with a water

stop device, which protects against dam-

age caused by water leaks in the hose

which could develop due to natural ageing

of the hose. This fault is shown by a red

sector in the window “A”. Should this occur,

A

turn the water tap off and refer to your

Service Force Centre to replace the hose.

Set the hose correctly by loosening the ring nut. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks.

Water drainage

The appliance drain hose should hook into a standpipe, the hook in the drain hose is formed using the plastic “U-Piece” sup- plied. The standpipe should have an inter- nal diameter of approximately 38 mm (see diagram on page 52) thus ensuring there is an air break between the drain hose and standpipe.

When discharging into a standpipe ensure that the top of the curve in the hose end is no more than 90 cm (35.4”)

3 pin

and no less than 60 cm (23.6”) above floor level.

Max. 90 cm.(35.4")
