Introduction

This section describes the operating controls and indicators, turn-on checkout procedures, and operating procedures and considerations for the power supply. Front-panel operation and remote resistance/voltage programming is described in this section. The front-panel controls and indicators are shown in Figure - and described in Table 3-1. Table 3-1 also lists the pages, in which, use of the controls and indicators is described.

More theoretical descriptions regarding the operational features of power supplies in general are given in the Operating and Service manual for your specific model and in the DC Power Supply Handbook, Application Note 90B (Agilent part number 5952-4020).
