OPERATIONS

Mount the intercom on bracket, aligning at the marks. Pull down on bracket, until it properly locks. Terminal section is on the back side. Do not disassemble the unit. For surface wall cable run, outlet hole is provided on the top or bottom of chassis.

Press CALL button to call other station(s)(max. 3 subs). It rings as long as CALL button is pressed. Communicate on handsets. At conclusion, replace handset onto cradle. If not hung up, battery power is consumed.

* External device, connected to a station, is activated as long as call tone rings on handset.

TECHNICAL PRECAUTIONS

*Do not hold hook switch down while handset is off hook, as the call tone sounds very loud through handset receiver.

*Do not connect AC wires to any terminal on any unit.

*Do not use DC power supply when the batteries are installed.

*Do not install AT-406in places subjected to temperature/humidity extremes, dust, oil, chemicals, salt, etc.

*Clean AT-406 with a soft cloth dampened with neutral household cleanser. Never use any abrasive cleaner or cloth.

SPECIFICATIONS (AT-406)

Power source:6V DC, 120mA. OA standby.

Power supply:SKK-620 in USA or PS-6D power supply. Or 4 pcs SUM-3(AA) batteries.

Communication: Electronic tone rings opponnent station(s). Common talk system with handset.

Wiring:2 wires parallel, non-polarized.
