Switching Phase

Before switching Phase, select the Subwoofer ON
(refer to "Subwoofer Control On and Off" on page
38).
1Press the bass engine button to turn on the
Bass engine mode.
2Press the Preset 3 button to select Subwoofer
Phase mode.
3Press the g DN or f UP button to switch
the phase of the subwoofer output.
NORMAL REVERSE
4Press the bass engine button to return to the
normal mode.
NOTE
If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds, the
Switching Phase setting will be off automatically.

Turning Defeat Mode On and Off

When the defeat mode is on, the sound signals
bypass the surround circuits and directly go to the
line output. The equalizer curve, therefore,
becomes flat.
1Press and hold the bass engine button for at
least 2 seconds to select the DEFEAT the mode.
2Press the g DN or f UP button to set
DEFEAT to ON/OFF.
3When turning DEFEAT ON, you can return the
settings that you adjusted to the default settings.
DEFAULT:
Bass Level : ± 0
Bass Center Freq. : 80 Hz
Bass Band Width : WIDE1
Treble Level : ± 0
Treble Center Freq.: 10.0 kHz
LOUD : OFF
4Press and hold the bass engine button for at
least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.
