Due to the change in driveline RPM, snow thrower attachment 890103 on retrofitted Rapid XZ units will need to be updated with kit 59004200. This kit contains a different sprocket and chain to accommodate the new driveline speed.
Production on the basic kit 59003800 will begin in May, 2011. Production on supplemental kits 59003700, 59003900 and 59004200 will begin in July, 2011.
All unsold units should be updated with a retrofit kit combination prior to sale. Dealers will be reimbursed for 5.0 hours of labor at their standard posted shop labor rate for each kit they install. The flat rate code for this repair is 90998.
