Start and Programmes

The Controls

Programmes knob
! Warning, if after pressing the start button the prog ramme
knob position is changed, the new position wil l NOT change
the programme selected. To change programme press
Start/Pause Button to pause the programme, the light flashes

Press the Start/Pause Button and the n ew prog ramme wi ll star t.
Option Buttons/ Ligh ts
These buttons a re used to custom ise the selecte d programme
to your requirements. A programme must have been selected
on the Programmes knob before a n option can be s elected.
Not all opti ons are avai lable for a ll programm es (see Start and
Programmes). If an option is not available and you press the
button, the buzzer will beep three times. If the option is
available the option light in the button lights to confirm your
selection.

fter the start switch has been pressed were available only the
Crease Care or Sound options (were available) can be
changed.
Progress ( Drying, Cool tumble), Icons
These are pa rt of the Di splay unit th ey indicat e the progre ss of
the dryer each on e comes on as t he correspondi ng phase
starts.
Time Delay
The start of some programmes (see Start and Programmes and
The Display) can be delayed for up to 24 hours.
Crease care
The pre-care op tion is only av ailable if a dela yed start has
been select ed. It tumbl es the cloth es occasio nally duri ng the
delayed period to help prevent creases developing.
The post-care opt ion occasio nally tumble s the clothes af ter the
end of the drying and cool tum ble cycles to help prevent
creases developing, should you not be available to remove the
load immediately the programme is complete. The Displa y
shows , the Crease car e and the S tart/Pause L ights flas h
A
mber. during this phase. Selecti ng this option enables both
the pre and post care function s if appropriate and when
selected the li ght in the butt on is on.
Note: If you have selected the Sound option this option is not
available.
Sound
If selected gives a signal at th e end of the dr ying cycle to
remind you th at the clo thes are re ady to be re moved. Not
available on Heat & Enjoy programme.
Note: If you have selected the Crease care option this op tion is
not available.
Heat Level Button and Lights
Not all prog rammes allow you to cha nge the heat level, and
some of these pr ogrammes do all ow all three heat level
options. Whe n the optio n change the h eat level is availabl e
pressing this b utton changes t he heat level selected and the
corresponding l ight is lit f or the three available lev els, Low,
Medium and Hi
g
h.
DISPLAY
The display show s either the amou nt of time del ay remaining
or an indication of the amount of time left for a drying
programme. (see The Display) The Colons between the hours
and minutes display flash to s how that the time is countin g
down.
When the programme finishes i ts cool tumble phase the
display wi ll show .
Door Opening
Opening the door (or pres sing the S tart/Paus e Button )
during a progra mme will stop the dryer and have the following
effects.. Note: The Start/Paus e Light flashes Amber during
Post Care phase of a programme.
The Start/Pause Light f lashes Amber.
The start button mu st be pres sed to r esume
the programme in cluding a de layed start. Th e
progress lights will then chan ge to show the
current status and the Start/Pause light will stop
flashing and tu rn green
During a delay phase th e delay will c ontinue to
count down...
During the drying part o f a programme, the time to
end count continu es but the col ons do not flash .
During the post care part of a drying program, the
programme will finish. Pressing the start/pause
button will re-start a new programme.
Changing the Pro grammes kno b will sele ct a new
programme and th e Start/Pause Light will flas h
green. You can use this to sel ect the Refresh
programme to cool the clothes if you find them
dry enough.

Note
If you have a power cut, switch off the power or remove
the plug. When powe r is restored , press and hold the
On/Off button until the dryer rea ctivates, then press the
Start/Pause button.
