Overclocking

Temperature, fan, and voltage monitoring

The CPU temperature is monitored by the ASUS ASIC to prevent overheating and damage. The system fan rotations per minute (RPM) is monitored for timely failure detection. The system voltage levels are monitored to ensure stable supply of current for critical components.

Chassis intrusion detection

The motherboard supports chassis intrusion monitoring through the Winbond ASIC. A chassis intrusion event is retained in CMOS for more protection.

ASUS update

This utility allows you to update the motherboard BIOS through a user- friendly interface. Connect to the Internet then to the ASUS FTP site nearest you to obtain the latest BIOS version for your motherboard.
