CLEANING THE EYEPIECE
You may need to clean the eyepiece of the Night Storm from time to time in order to guarantee
top perfo rmance. When you receive your N ight Stor m you should c heck fo r dust on the
eyepiece of the unit.
First you will nee d to remove the eyep iece. To do that you w ill need to init ially loosen t he 2
set screws that can be found on th e base. Then unscrew the eye piece counter-clo ckwise to
remove it.
NOTE: You do not have to remove the set screws complet ely, they are very small and easy to
misplace.
CAUTION: Use only Photographic l ens cleanin g tissue on t hese surface s. Be careful n ot to
scratch or smudge any of these surfaces. When using compressed air to blow dust away, make
sure to avoid inverting the can while spraying. This can cause frozen propellant to exit the can,
which can cause serious problems with the glass and phosphor screen.
