Clearing Programmed Play Memory: To clear the Programmed Play memory, press the Memory Clear button at any time during Programmed Play mode (PGM on display panel). PGM will disappear from the dis- play panel, M --- CL will appear momentarily, and the program will be erased. The Programmed Play memory will also be cleared auto- matically when the disc(s) is ejected.

NOTE: Program Play memory will be maintained if the disc is left in the player when the unit is shut off.

dm THEFT-DETERRENT LED

A light-emitting diode (LED) with lens is mounted on the front of the chassis behind the panel mounting plate; the LED will flash at 1-sec- ond intervals when the panel folds down, and will flash at 2-second intervals when the panel is removed from the radio. The flashing light serves as both a visual reminder that the panel has been released, or as a warning to a would-be thief that the unit has been disabled by removal of the front panel.
