Thepixelcountershowsthenumberofpixelsinanareaoftheimage.Thepixelcounterisusefulinsituationswherethereisa

requirementthattheimageisacertainsize,forexampleinfacerecognition.

Thepixelcountercanbeaccessedfrom:

•Video>VideoStream.UnderPreview,clickOpenandselecttheShowpixelcounteroptiontoenabletherectangle

intheimage.Usethemousetomoveandresizetherectangle,orenterthenumberofpixelsintheWidthandHeight

eldsandclickApply.

ThedefaultimagesettingscanbeconguredunderVideo>VideoStream.SelecttheImagetab.

Thefollowingsettingsareavailable:

•Resolution.Selectthedefaultresolution.

•Compression.Thecompressionlevelaffectstheimagequality ,bandwidthandlesizeofsavedimages;thelowerthe

compression,thehighertheimagequalitywithhigherbandwidthrequirementsandlargerlesizes.

•Rotateimage.Ifrequired,theimagecanberotated.

•Mirror.Ifrequired,theimagecanbemirrored.

•Maximumframerate.Toavoidbandwidthproblems,theframerateallowedtoeachviewercanbeLimitedtoaxed

amount.Alternatively ,theframeratecanbesetasUnlimited,whichmeanstheAxisproductalwaysdeliversthehighest

frameratepossibleunderthecurrentconditions.
