Add 1 ¾” to this measurement.
Cut the connecting thread so that it is X + 1 ¾” long.
Wrap the threads on the connecting thread with Teflon tape (1).
Use an 8 mm Allen wrench to install it in the rough (2).
Do not overtighten the connecting thread!
(3)Push the baseplate against the wall. Install the handle nuts, color rings, and handle fixing sets. Tighten the screws.

The connecting thread should extend 1 1/8” outside the surface of the finished wall.
