Eliminate Oil Migration Problems

Vehicles making frequent stops, trucks equipped with high air usage components (e.g.: lift axles, central tire inflation, bulk unloading), or buses whose normal, day-to-day route demands repetitive pneumatic operations (e.g.: kneeling, door actuation) often cause a compressor to exceed its recommended duty cycle.

Higher compressor duty cycles increase discharge temperatures and allow the oil to remain as a fine aerosol that can pass through the air dryer to condense down- stream in air components. This condensed oil can cause critical valves (e.g.: EGR actuators) and air powered accessories to stick or even fail, resulting in reduced component life and increased vehicle downtime.

The Bendix® PuraGuard QC™ filter protects the air system by removing excessive oil contamination in the supply air. With an oil removal efficiency of 90 percent or greater, the PuraGuard QC™ filter extends the life of air components and reduces maintenance costs. The PuraGuard QC™ filter features an easy to service spin-on cartridge with an integral heavy-duty drain valve.
