Subject: Air Dryer Cartridge / Oil Separator
Effective July 1, 1982, all air dryers, air dryer cartridge kits and remanufactured cartridges will incorporate a new and improved design oil separator.
Because the new separator removes oil much more efficiently than the older design, the recommended service interval has been increased from one (1) year to two (2) years. The aluminum element of the new separator can be visually distinguished from the pleated paper element of the old style separator.
