BEFORE STARTING, MAKE SURE:

 

 

TO START, MOVE ENGINE STOP SWITCH TO "ON" AND PULL ROPE.

 

 

 

 

TINE DEPTH CONTROL BAIL IS IN UP POSITION.

 

 

NOTE: IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO USE THE ENGINE CHOKE IF

 

 

 

 

ALL GUARDS ARE ATTACHED.

 

 

ENGINE IS COLD.

 

 

 

 

FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

 

 

PUSH FORWARD ON TINE LIFT HANDLE TO ENGAGE TINES

 

 

 

 

 

 

IN GROUND.

 

 

 

 

 

CHECK ENGINE OIL DAILY.

 

 

PUSH FORWARD ON OPERATOR’S BAIL TO ENGAGE DRIVE AND

 

 

 

 

INSPECT AND CLEAN ENGINE AIR FILTER DAILY.

 

 

START AERATING.

 

READ OWNERS MANUAL

REPLACE AS NEEDED.

 

 

DURING OPERATION PUSHING DOWN ON OPERATOR’S HANDLE

 

GREASE ALL BEARINGS AND CHECK GEAR REDUCTION

 

WILL MAXIMIZE CORING DEPTH.
