canaffect sensing results. The sensor may detectelectric wiring or pipes in the same
mannerthat studs are detected depending on their locationto the wall surface. Use
cautionwhen drilling, nailing or cutting into walls,floors and ceilings which may contain
electricalwiring or pipes. These items may be detectedby the sensor in the same manner
inwhich studs are detected. Because studs are normally spaced 16 inches (406 mm) or
24inches (610 mm) apart and are usually 1-1/2 inches (38 mm) wide, beware of anything
closertogether or of a different width. Always turn off the power when working near
electricalwires.
CAUTION:Use of controls or adjustments or performanceof procedures other than
thosespecified in this manual may result in hazardouslaser radiation exposure.
