FEATURES

Get an instant ceramic-tip fiber connection.

Prepolished Fiber Connectors handle ST, SC, FC, LC, and MT-RJ connections.

Prepolished fiber connectors are comprised of the connector housing, two sleeves, and two compression-hood fittings.

One push with the Fiber Optic Cleaver (FT538) cuts fiber cable cleanly.

Stress-free splicing! No gluing or alignment problems with the No- Adhesive Mechanical Splice (FO030).

Hold up to six splices securely in the Mechanical 6-Splice Tray (WP602).

OVERVIEW

Get ready for the easiest fiber connections you’ve ever made with the Fiber Connector Tool Kit and Prepolished Fiber Connectors.

The rotating cam on the ST® and FC Prepolished Fiber Connectors makes termination quick and smooth.

All connectors come with a fiber optic stub in the connector tip, which is cemented firmly in place. The stub is polished to a physical-contact (PC) finish. Because the connectors are prepolished, you get the strength of a bonded connection without polishing and epoxy during installation. That makes it easy to get peak performance.

The connector housing is designed to make matching up the fiber stub and cable easy. Insert a stripped and cleaved fiber cable in the connector, and when you feel little or no

resistance, the fiber and stub and are matched up correctly. Then just crimp!

Mechanical Splice and Tray

To splice fiber cables, choose the No-Adhesive Mechanical Splice. Insert a stripped and cleaved fiber cable into each end of the splice and twist. A cam locks the fibers into position for accurate alignment. To protect and organize your splices, use the Mechanical 6-Splice Tray. The tray holds six spliced connections securely.

NOTE: You can also order the tools separately.
