•Zet het scheerapparaat aan (snoerloos) en spoel het scheerhoofd schoon onder heet stromend water (f).

U kunt tevens een natuurlijke zeep gebruiken, mits hier geen schurende deeltjes in zitten. Spoel het schuim goed af en laat het scheerapparaat gedurende een aantal seconden aan staan.

•Schakel het apparaat vervolgens uit en verwijder het scheerblad en messenblok. Laat deze onderdelen los van het scheerapparaat goed drogen.

U kunt uw scheerapparaat tevens schoonmaken met het bijgeleverde borsteltje (g).

•Schakel het scheerapparaat uit. Verwijder het scheer- blad.

•Gebruik het borsteltje om het messenblok en de binnenkant van het scheerhoofd schoon te maken. Gebruik het borsteltje nooit voor het scheerblad; dit kan het scheerblad beschadigen.

Uw scheerapparaat in topconditie houden

Reinig het messenblok elke 4 weken met Braun reinigings- middel. Smeer het scheerblad (h) en de tondeuses (4a, 4b) met een druppel naaimachine olie.

Vervangen van onderdelen

Vervang uw scheerblad en messenblok om de 18 maanden of eerder wanneer deze versleten zijn. Vervang beide onderdelen tegelijkertijd voor een gladder scheerresultaat met minder huidirritatie.

De oplaadbare accu in goede staat houden

Om de maximale capaciteit en levensduur van de accu te behouden, dient het scheerapparaat bij regelmatig gebruik ongeveer iedere 6 maanden te worden ontladen. Laadt vervolgens het scheerapparaat weer op tot volle capaciteit. Stel het scheerapparaat niet voor langere periodes bloot aan temperaturen boven 50 °C.

Milieu

Dit apparaat is voorzien van een nickel-hydride oplaadbare accu-unit. In het belang van het milieu raden wij u aan het apparaat aan het einde van zijn nuttige levensduur niet bij het gewone huisafval te deponeren. Lever het apparaat in bij de winkel waar u het apparaat heeft gekocht of bij een chemo-punt.

Indien u toch de accu unit zelf wilt verwijderen, verwijder deze dan als aangegeven op pagina 47.

Wijzigingen voorbehouden.

Dit produkt voldoet aan de EMC-voorschriften volgens de EEG richtlijn 89/336 en aan de EEG laagspannings richtlijn 73/23.
