Connecting and charging
Your toothbrush has a waterproof handle, is electrically safe and can be used in the bathroom without hesitation.
•Plug the charger base (e) into an electrical outlet and place the toothbrush handle (c) on the charger base.
•The blue charge indicator (d) flashes while the handle is being charged. If you then use your brush and place it back on the charger, the charging light will again flash to let you know it is charging.
•When the handle is fully charged, the charge indicator shines continuously. A full charge takes at least 16 hours and enables up to two weeks of regular brushing, so you can easily take your Braun
•When the rechargeable battery is running low, your tooth- brush will slow down, then stop.
•For everyday use, the toothbrush handle can be stored on the charger base to maintain it at full power. Overcharging is impossible.
•To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug the charger base and fully discharge the handle by regular use at least every 6 months.
When removing the plug from the power socket, please make sure that you pull the plug and not just the power cord. Pulling just the cord could result in electrocution or a short circuit, which could lead to the outbreak of fire.
Please do not use below or above AC
•Because the charger base uses electromagnetic induction, please do not place on top of stainless steel or metallic surfaces when in use. Recharge capacity may be affected and recharging may become difficult.
•Please check that the power cord of the charger base is not damaged. If there are signs of damage, please refrain from use and contact purchase location or the local Braun Service Center.
•Rechargeable batteries may grow weaker over the time. A notable reduction in running time, even after charging, may mean that the battery has begun to deteriorate. If repairs are required (charges apply), please see your nearest sales outlet or Braun Service Center.
Please do not damage, break, convert, forcibly bend, stretch, twist or bundle together the power cord.
Individuals other than certified repair technicians should not disassemble or attempt to repair the pro- duct. Please do not attempt to modify the product yourself. This could lead to fire, electrocution, or injury.
