TROUBLESHOOTINGProblem Cause Correction
Engine is running, but no AC output is
available.
1. Circuit breaker open or defective.
2. Fault in generator.
3. Poor wiring connections or
defective transfer switch.
1. Reset or replace circuit breaker.
2. Contact local service facility.
3. Check and repair.
Engine runs good at no-load but "bogs
down" when loads are connected.
1. Short circuit in a connected load.
2. Generator is overloaded.
3. Shorted generator circuit.
4. Fuel Pressure is incorrect.
5. Natural gas fuel mixture is
incorrect.
1. Disconnect shorted electrical load.
2. See "Essential Circuits".
3. Contact local service facility.

Engine will not start; or starts and runs
rough.
1. 15 Amp fuse missing or blown.
2. Out of fuel.
3. Failed battery.
1. Install (new) 15 Amp fuse. See
“Know Your System Control Panel”.
2. Open fuel valve(s); check propane
tank.
3. Replace battery.
Engine shuts down during operation.
1. Out of fuel.
2. Fault indicator blinking.
1. Check fuel valves, fill propane tank.
2. Count blinks and refer to "Fault
Detection System".
Loss of power on essential circuits. 1. Generator circuit breaker is open.
2. Transfer switch problems.
1. Reset circuit breaker.
