Charging a device
IMPORTANT: Fully charge this battery before charging a device for the first time.
1.Connect your device to the battery with one of the included cables to the output 1 or output 2 jack.
Note: If your device uses a cable other than the ones supplied, you may need to use a USB adapter that came with your device.
Check the specifications of your device to ensure it is safe to charge with this battery.
2.Press the POWER button on the battery.
3.Turn your device on. Refer to the device you are charging for battery level status in that device.
4.Press the POWER button on the battery for 3 seconds to turn it off.
5.Disconnect your device.
Checking battery status
The LED lights will illuminate when the POWER button is pressed to show the charge capacity left in the battery.
When the battery is fully charged, all 9 LED lights will illuminate. Recharge the battery when only one LED light is illuminated.
Troubleshooting
Q. No LEDs illuminate while attempting to charge my device.
A. You need to refer to the device you are charging for battery level status in that device.
Q. The battery gets warm while charging or discharging.
A. This is a common result of charging and discharging of energy. The heat is not enough to affect devices adversely.

Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or
