Symbol and character sets A

For the HP LaserJet emulation modes, you can choose the symbol and character sets using a Web Based

Management (Web browser) or the control panel bu ttons.

How to use the Web Based Management (web browser) A

To use the Web Based Management (Web browser), follow the steps bel ow.

aEnter [http://printer’s IP address/] into your browser.

For example: [http://192.168.1.2/] (if the printer’s IP address is 192.1 68.1.2)

bClick Printer Settings.

cEnter a user name and a password. The default User Nam e is [admin] and the default Password is

[access].

dClick OK.

eChoose the HP LaserJet tab and click Font Setup. Choose a symbol set you want to use from the

Symbol Set list box.
