VI. Using as AC Power Source
• The Solo™ (15 or 7.5) can’t be directly used as an AC source.
• It can be connected to a DC to AC power inverter. The Solo is limited to 5 amps
max output. If your applications demands more than this it will not be able to run your
power inverter and appliance.
VII. Using as DC Power Source
• It is recommended to fully charge the Solo before use.
• There is one DC outlet for a barrel jack connector.
• Voltage supply and LED indicator times will vary with the appliance that Solo is
powering.
• Use the fuel gauge or LEVEL button to estimate the amount of power remaining.
• The DC power source can be used during charge cycle.
To use as DC power source:
1. Place the Solo in a safe area. See previous warnings.
2. Connect the application cord to output jack on the battery.
3. Use your device as you normally would.
4. Battery supply times will vary with the appliance that Solo is powering.
5. Monitor the Fuel Level of the battery periodically by pressing the LEVEL button.
6. When the green LED is in the low fuel position, your remaining power is less than
30 percent.
7. Disconnect the supply cord from the DC socket.
8. Charge the power pack. See charging directions above.
VIII. Level Key (Fuel Gauge Level)
• Pressing the LEVEL Key will illuminate a green LED relative to the approximate bat-
tery LEVEL remaining in the Solo.
• The LEVEL Key operates during charge mode.
• Remember that it is recommended to fully charge the Solo before use.
To determine the current charge:
1. Place the Solo in a safe area. See previous warnings above.
2. Press the Status key.
4. Observe which LED is illuminated.
5. The green LED over three bars represents a near full charge. The green LED over
two bars represents about 60 percent capacity, and the LED over one bar represents
about 30 percent capacity.
6. The LED’s will remain illuminated for 3 seconds after the LEVEL button is pushed. If
