A short power-supply cord is provided with the warmer in accordance with Underwriters’ Laboratories requirements to re- duce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled-in or trip- ping-over a longer cord. An extension cord can be used, but care should be exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, be sure that:

a.The molded electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the warmer.

b.The extension cord should be arranged so it will not drape over the counter top where it can be pulled by children or tripped-over accidentally.
