Power Supply Operation
The ESX-1320R and the ESX-1380R are equipped with two load sharing power supplies to provide redundancy. Two power cord outlets, labeled Power 1 and Power 2 (see Figure 1), are used to provide power to each power supply. To take advantage of the load sharing and redundancy capabilities, each power cord must be plugged into a dedicated ac outlet.
LANVIEW Diagnostic LEDs
In addition to the LANVIEW LEDs located on the front panel of the ESX-1320 and the ESX-1380, the ESX-1320R and the ESX-1380R are equipped with two LANVIEW diagnostic LEDs located on the rear of the unit (see Figure 1). These LEDs provide an easy way to observe the status of the individual power supplies. Table 1 provides a description of the LANVIEW power supply LEDs.
