2.Attach the strain relief bracket to the bottom of the TRXI as shown in Figure 3-1.

3.3INSTALLING THE TRXI

The TRXI can be rack mounted, wall mounted, or placed on any horizontal surface. Select one of the following subsections and perform the steps that are applicable for your installation. If you decide not to install the TRXI in a 19-inch rack, the following requirements must be met when selecting a location.

Note: Be sure that the location selected is within reach of the network cabling.

An unrestricted free surface area at least 21 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 6 inches high is needed.

A single phase 85 to 264 Vac, 15A, grounded power receptacle must be located within 7 feet of the site.

If a shelving unit is to be used, it must be able to support 30 pounds of static weight.

The temperature for the selected location must be maintained between 5° and 50°C, and less than 10°C per hour temperature change.
