Shooting with FE Lock

You can use FE lock to set the flash output for the best exposure of your subject regardless of the composition of the shot.

1 Turn on the LCD monitor.

2 Press the button to select (On).

3 Focus the camera on the subject on which you wish to lock the exposure setting.

4 Press the shutter button halfway and press the button.

5 Re-aim the camera to compose the shot and shoot.

To Release the FE Lock:

Press the button.
