One-touch speed dialing
An automatic dialing method that allows you to dial a fax or telephone number by
pressing a single one-touch speed dialing button. The MultiPASS can store up to 12
numbers for one-touch speed dialing.
One-touch speed dialing buttons
The buttons numbered 01 to 12 on the operation panel, each of which may be
registered as a fax or telephone number. Once a number is registered, you press one
button to dial the entire number.

Page orientation
Refers to the direction of print on the page. Printing across the width of a page is
called portrait orientation. Printing across the length of a page is called landscape
orientation.
Pause
A timing entry required for registering certain long distance numbers and for
dialing out through some telephone systems or switchboards. Pressing the
Redial/Pause button enters a pause between digits of a fax/telephone number.
Photo
The document setting you use for sending or copying documents with
intermediate tones, such as photographs.
Platen
The printer component that holds the paper in position during ink transfer.
