Shooting Mode

The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture value to match the brightness of the subject. You can freely configure such settings as the ISO speed, exposure compensation and white balance.

1 Set the mode dial to .

2 Shoot.

The shutter speed and aperture values are shown in red on the LCD monitor if a correct exposure cannot be obtained when the shutter button is pressed halfway. Use the following shooting methods to obtain the correct exposure and make them show in white.

-Using the flash (p. 64)

-Changing the ISO speed (p. 100)

-Changing the metering method (p. 102)
