Removing the Protective Material

Remove the flatbed from the box, and remove the orange tape and protective sheets (▼) from the flatbed.

Releasing the Lock Switch

The flatbed is shipped with the internal scanning unit locked into place. Before using the flatbed, set the lock switch on the underside of the flatbed to the position to release the scanning unit.
